Anti-Bullying & Redressal Committee

This Committee has been formed to eliminate bullying of any form in different spheres at schools, society and even in the cyberspace. Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally and excluding someone from a group on purpose.

Responsibilities

  • Development and review of School Bullying Prevention Plan
  • Development and implementing bullying prevention programmes
  • Developing training programmes for staff, students, and parents
  • Creating awareness through various programmes
  • Being vigilant and observing signs of bullying and responding quickly and sensitively
  • Names and contact numbers of members of the committee to be clearly displayed everywhere in the school premises.

INTERNAL COMMITTEE IN SEXUAL HARASSMENT

The school is committed to ensuring that the working and learning environment is harassment- free. It should also state that sexual harassment is unlawful and will not be tolerated, and that action will be taken against those who breach the rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  •  Access to the school building by outsiders should be controlled and visitors will be monitored.
  • Training will be provided to the school staff to address their responsibilities to protect children from any form of above.
  • Safety measures, installation of CCTV cameras, constitution of parent teacher students committees to address safety needs of the students & taking feedback from parents are among the measures prescribed by the committee.

COMMITTEE FOR REDRESSAL GRIEVANCE

CSM Central School has created a mechanism for redressal of students grievances related to academic and non-academic matters, such as victimization, harassment by colleague students or teachers, assessment, charging of fees etc.
